The right way to take delivery

Agree who will release the car, which keys or documents are included and who will receive it. Keep dated condition photographs and ask how the collection and handover will be recorded.
Four steps to delivery
1. Discuss your new car. Send the exact model, seller details, collection and delivery postcodes and preferred dates. Share any ground-clearance, loading or operating instructions supplied with the vehicle.
2. Agree the collection. Jack confirms whether the proposed open transport arrangement suits the car, along with the price and dates. The dealer or seller confirms release, keys and paperwork.
3. Arrange the journey. Your new car travels by open transporter to the agreed destination. Discuss any handling requirements with Jack before booking so the collection plan fits the particular vehicle.
4. Take delivery. Agree suitable access and the person receiving the car, with time to go through the keys and documents supplied by the seller. Confirm how condition and handover will be recorded before collection.

How is the transport price worked out?
Distance, the vehicle’s dimensions and condition, loading access and your dates all affect the quote. For several cars, include the full load and every stop. Jack confirms the proposed arrangement and full price before booking.
